🌿 Gorson Bugyal

About 3 km from Auli, Gorson Bugyal is one of the most rewarding short treks in the area.

The trek is accessible to beginners and provides spectacular views of Nanda Devi, Trishul and Dron Parvat.

💎 Auli Artificial Lake

It’s Artificial Lake is another distinctive attraction.

The turquoise water sits against the surrounding mountain slopes and looks particularly dramatic when the landscape is covered in snow. Uttarakhand Tourism describes it as the world’s highest artificial lake.

It is easily accessible and makes for a relaxed stop after skiing or trekking.

🌱 Kwani Bugyal

At around 3,380 metres, Kwani Bugyal offers a more demanding high-altitude meadow experience.

Located roughly 13 km from Gorson Bugyal, it is accessible by trekking and offers expansive views of snow-covered peaks.

For adventure travellers, this can be positioned as a more advanced alternative to the Gorson Bugyal trek.

🔥 Saildhar Tapovan

Around 15 km from Auli, Saildhar Tapovan is a small village known for a natural hot-water spring and temple.

The area also offers opportunities to experience traditional handicrafts and interact with local residents.

🛕 Joshimath — The Gateway to Auli

Auli and Joshimath are closely connected.
